Committal of Ashes and Burial at Sea

As one of the few uniformed organisations operating craft around the UK coast, we are sometimes asked to provide this service to the relatives of former maritime and nautical service personnel and enthusiasts of the sea.

We have three units (see below) that carry out occasional committal of ashes to the sea at the request of families. You are requested to make direct contact with the most suitable unit please.

East Sussex Unit (see above) carries out a small number of burials at sea.
