The MVS Chairman, Elfyn Hughes recently contacted the Union Jack Club in London to check out use by the MVS at the discounted rates available.
Their Chief Executive, Simon Atkins has written back to say he is delighted to advise that members of the Maritime Volunteer Service having been formed following the disbanding of the Royal Naval Auxiliary Service are entitled to stay at the Union Jack Club as Temporary Honorary Members.
When booking accommodation MVS members should state their association and will then be asked to show their MVS ID on arrival at the club.
