Pirates of the Bridgewater Canal
When the Port of Manchester Unit heard about a little girl in their area who is fighting cancer for the second time, they felt they had to do something for her and her family.
Cue the MVS Pirate Adventure!
Volunteers took the family on a boat trip on the Bridgewater Canal, however all of them were warned that the ‘Pirate Threat Warning’ was high.
The trip was inevitably interrupted with a pirate ambush which was repelled by the little girl and her brother with their trusty water cannons!
The pirates were then towed back to Worsley boatyard to be put in ‘pirate prison’!
A great day was had by all, and was sponsored by two local businesses, Incom Business Systems and Complete Network Services.
