MVS AGM 2016 held in Fareham
20 November 2016
The 2016 MVS AGM has been held at HMS Collingwood, the Royal Navy’s largest training establishment at Fareham in Hampshire.
Many thanks to the Royal Navy for providing the venue after the original venue fell though at a late stage in planning.
The meeting was opened by the MVS Chair Captain Tony Minns, before the Acting Chief Volunteer Officer Lynn Peppitt updated members on the years activities in the service.
Three units have closed over the last 12 months but new ones have opened in locations such as Fleetwood in Lancashire.
Members voted on amendments to the MVS articles of association and one new member trustee was voted on to the MVS Council.
