Examination Success for Severn Unit

Six members of the Tewkesbury based Severn Unit have passed their Marine VHF Short Range examination with flying colours.

Examiner Eric Thresher from Estuary Training said, “They all did extremely well and it would be great if all boaters learned these skills to that high standard”.

​Head of Unit Nic Price added, “The candidates for the exam learned their skills through the MVS and have been putting in a lot of hard work within the unit studying the subject. They have also had practical experience using the VHF radio out on the water in the Unit boats”.
