Busy Weekend for the MVS at Poole Boat Show

The Poole Unit have been out in force supporting the Poole Boat Show and all four vessels, Avocet, St Elin, Trevora and the new RIB Ocean Adventure were involved.

The boats and crews provided safety cover along Poole Quay and around the show, marshalling the safety area during a massive fireworks display on Friday evening.

The unit also had a stand at the show which attracted a lot of attention resulting in several potential new members.

A raffle featuring a model of the Smit Rotterdam which was once the largest sea going tug in the world attracted a lot of attention and helped raise unit funds.
