Severn Unit Member Raises over £3,000 for Poppy Appeal

Severn Unit Maritime Volunteer Service member Will Fish has raised in excess of £3,100 for the Tewkesbury Poppy Appeal this year and has been congratulated by the local British Legion for the record breaking total.

Head of Severn Unit Nic Price said, “Will sold poppies for this year’s appeal outside Morrisons Supermarket for weeks and to have raised this amount was an amazing single handed achievement.
This year he also was our Standard Bearer for the Unit in the Remembrance Sunday Parade through Tewkesbury, replacing Ben Foster-Smith who performed the duty for the last 10 years”.
