Poole to the rescue

MVS Poole was on a mid-week training run when they were asked by port authorities to attend a 9.5m yacht with engine failure.

After a long wet run from the other end of the harbour they found the yacht “Majon” with a crew of two and two anchors down.

Recovering the anchors was tricky due to the wind but a tow was established which dramatically parted on approaching Poole Quay.

Despite the conditions the recovery turned out well and the yacht was secured alongside Poole Quay.
