MVS Members Support National Memorial Service

MVS Chair David Hughes and Putney Unit member George Mellett attended the National Service of Remembrance for those who have no grave but the sea.

The annual service is held at All Hallows by the Tower, in London, and is organised by the Maritime Foundation, which was instrumental in setting up the MVS.
The church was full and the congregation included families of those lost at sea and representatives of several maritime organisations.

A special prayer of thanks was offered for the work of the MVS.
Afterwards the two MVS members were approached by people from the congregation who wished to find out more about our charity.
