MVS Assists Moving Ship in Bristol Harbour

MVS Bristol members have assisted the Jubilee Sailing Trust in moving their decommissioned square-rigged sail training ship, STS Lord Nelson in the Bristol Floating Harbour.

Lord Nelson is moored alongside the M Shed museum in the city and had to be moved so that her berth could be surveyed before being returned.

Volunteers from MVS Bristol, MVS Cardiff and the Pride of Bristol Trust provided help to the JST crew and to Bristol Harbour staff by handling the mooring lines during the moves.
