MVS commemorates Remembrance Sunday 2019

MVS personnel from around the UK gathered at many venues to commemorate Remembrance Sunday.

MVS Northumbria again organised the annual Remembrance Sunday parade of sail on the River Tyne.
Hundreds of people gathered at the busy Newcastle Quayside Market and on the Millennium Bridge to watch the moving tribute.

In Gloucestershire MVS Severn took part in the Tewkesbury Remembrance Parade.
Head of Unit Nic Price said, “Severn Unit took part in the Remembrance Parade through Tewkesbury and hundreds of people lined the streets to watch and join in the service at the Cenotaph which followed a church service in the Abbey.”

Isle of Wight Unit members Annabel Smith and David Dobson took part in the Remembrance and Armistice Day parades in both Newport and Ryde.
