Offshore Training for Severn Unit in the West

After recent training was cancelled due to Covid restrictions, members of the Tewkesbury based Severn Unit were pleased to finally be able to take four boats out of Sharpness and down the Severn Estuary.

Head of Unit Nic Price said, “This training trip went extremely well and enabled 12 members to navigate to Portishead and then into Bristol.
Several new members joined us for the trip and gained experience in boat handling, navigation and VHF skills”.
