20th Trafalgar Night Dinner for Severn Unit

Severn Unit were joined by local councillor Gill Blackwell for their 20th Trafalgar Night Dinner at Brown’s Restaurant in Tewkesbury.

Head of Unit Nic Price said, “We were pleased to welcome visitors from both the Bristol and Cardiff Units and we thank Peter Godwin from the Royal Naval Association for proposing the Toast to the Immortal Memory and giving such a detailed account of many naval engagements.

During the evening, Head of Seamanship Tim Huckvale presented Will Fish with the Unit “Seamanship Award” and Paul Cronin from the Avon Navigation Trust was invited to become an Honorary Member of the Unit and presented with a certificate and MVS Wall Shield.
