MVS at Armed Forces Day 2023

The MVS has taken part in Armed Forces Day events around the country.

MVS Humber took part in the event at Scunthorpe in North Lincolnshire where among the members present were newest recruits Ashley and Rosalyn Christie.
The day helped raise awareness and funds for the unit.

Armed Forces Day is an annual event celebrated in late June to commemorate the service of men and women in the British Armed Forces.
Veterans’ Day was first observed in 2006 and the name changed to Armed Forces Day in 2009.
