Busy Spring for Bristol Unit

The MVS team in Bristol have been involved in a multi-agency resilience exercise in the west country.
The unit was deployed to one of a number of rest centres in the city where they helped to run the centre with the support of the local authority.

The next day some of the unit made their way to the MV Balmoral which is based in Bristol.
The ship is now in the care of a charity which is working towards restoring Balmoral to full operation.
Members assisted with gangways duties and tours of the vessel and the charity also allows the Unit to promote the work of the MVS and recruit new members.
