MVS Putney

We are based on the River Thames at Putney, focusing on training our crew members to gain RYA accredited qualifications in skills such as PB2 and VHF radio operation.

Meetings are held weekly on Tuesday evenings at 1900 hours for shore based training in navigation, communications, safety and first aid.
We offer a zoom facility to those wishing to stay remote.

We are often afloat at weekends, gaining practical skills and experience in one of our three inflatable boats and by proxy are able to assist other river users should help be required.

We are also forming links with and have assisted the RNLI with their training and will develop this in the future.
