MVS RYA POWERBOAT TRAINING UNDERWAY

The MVS’s RYA accredited training centre at Eastbourne is now operational. Co-located with the East Sussex Sovereign Harbour Unit, the centre has a Ballistic WK55 RIB that meets the RYA’s exacting requirements for powerboat training.

The centre will intially offer Powerboat 2 (PB2) courses for MVS members.who can stay overnight on National Training Vessel East Sussex 1 when attending the two-day course.

East Sussex’s HOU Greg Darby says: “PB2 courses will be starting shortly and we look forward to MVS members from all Units using this important facility for the whole MVS.”.
