MVS Southampton

The Southampton Unit of the MVS was set up in 2023.

We have a Pan’s Marine P340 rigid hull vessel with a 25HP Yamaha outdoor engine.

We train volunteers in small boat handling skills and carry out harbour patrols on Category B/C inland waters on Southampton Water within a line from Calshot Castle to Hook Beacon.

We have a close relationship with Warsash Maritime School and provide volunteering opportunities for Officer Cadets to improve their small boat handling skills.

We welcome volunteers from all walks of life, with or without boating qualifications.
