Big Day on the Thames for MVS Gravesend

The MVS has continued its relationship with National League South side Ebbsfleet United by organising a river event for the club on the Thames.
Last year a game at the clubs Stonebridge Road ground raised over £400 for MVS Gravesend.

The ‘Fleet on the River’ event resulted in more than 75 trips on the river for disabled young people and their carers.
The weather held out and got better during the day while the tide allowed the three boats to provide shuttle runs from Gravesend Sailing Club, beyond Gravesend Pier and back down to Denton, before returning to the jetty on East Promenade.

MVS members from Gravesend, City Of London, Thanet and Medway all played a part in making the day a success.
