MVS Medway and Gravesend Unit exercise

Medway & Gravesend Unit took part in a training exercise with the Gravesend RNLI lifeboat crew last night. Gravesend station is made up of full time crew and volunteers.

The exercise included lifeboat crew searching for the unit RHIB, MVS Annie. The lifeboat then carried out a tow on to a mooring buoy followed by a side to side tow onto the pontoon at Gravesend sailing club.

MVS Units regularly train with other agencies and emergency services across the UK, helping each other to up-skill and provide realistic scenarios.
