MVS Southampton and Merchant Navy Cadet liaison

Donald Neaves, Head of Southampton Unit and Steve Collins Cadet Liaison Supervisor, together with Robin Plumley from the Warsash Association gave a presentation to 195 new Deck and Engineer Cadets at Solent Uni to welcome them to the Port City of Southampton and invite them to volunteer with the Southampton Unit at weekends. This is the fourth year that the Unit has participated in the Cadets Welcome Week which will include a tour of Southampton Docks onboard the Blue Funnel Trip boat “Ocean Scene” on Friday to give the Cadets a close up view of port operations in this major port.
