New Coxswain for Severn Unit

Tewkesbury based MVS Severn have appointed William Fish as Coxswain.

H​OU​ Nic Price said, “Will has completed his training and was presented with his new epaulettes by our Regional Volunteer Officer, Gordon MacDonald​ at our recent training evening​.” 

William is also a skipper of the local Tewkesbury to Twyning Ferry.

Severn Unit is continuing its​ Summer programme of training afloat as well as providing assistance to Avon Navigation Trust whenever required,​ with members mak​ing​ regular river patrols.

The Unit is also promoting the Boat Watch scheme to local boat owners in conjunction with Avon Navigation Trust and Gloucestershire Police.
