The MVS was again represented at the Emergency Services Show held at the NEC near Birmingham.
Director of Resilience David Dobson said, “This was the 10th show attended by the MVS.
This year our aim was to depict the roles of some our units which worked well”.

The MVS stand was visited by the Shoreham Air Display Safety Officer, who thanked the MVS for the work it has done over a number of years and especially on the day of the accident in 2015.

Head of Severn Unit Nic Price said, “We found it an excellent show this year.
As well as helping at our own MVS stand, unit members had plenty of opportunity to look around the hall and watch some of the demonstrations.
The show makes us aware of the important role the voluntary sector plays at times of emergency.”
The show was attended by MVS members from Severn, Bristol, Rushden and the Isle of Wight.
