Members and guests have celebrated the silver anniversary of the MVS at a cocktail party in Scunthorpe.

The event at the Wortley House Hotel was attended by members whose service goes back to the days of the Royal Naval Auxiliary Service from which we were formed in 1994.

Scunthorpe MP, Nic Dakin and Cllr John Briggs, the Mayor of North Lincolnshire attended the evening as honoured guests of the Unit.

Head of Humber Unit Shayne Arnold said, “It was a marvellous evening which allowed us to celebrate the successes of the last 25 years and look ahead to a great future in the north of England.
We especially enjoyed being able to celebrate with so many of the Unit’s friends from all around the country.”
