MVS at Seawork 2019

Thousands of visitors made their way to Southampton for Europe’s biggest commercial marine and workboat exhibition.
The event which is held at a specially built marina at Mayflower Park features an exhibition, conference and awards.
A number of potential members for the Southampton Unit dropped by and the MVS team took the opportunity to meet up with training providers and recruiters in the maritime sphere.
Chief Volunteer Officer Nick Spencer also met with Joshua Boland the HoU (Designate) for Southampton and Mike Robarts who is looking to start a unit around the River Crouch.
