Day Skipper success for MVS Members

Three MVS members including MVS Chairman David Hughes have passed their RYA Day Skipper certifications aboard Londinium 1.
The last day saw them venturing into the Thames Estuary in Force 5-6 winds after navigating around the Isle of Sheppey via the Swale, giving Londinium 1’s ship’s bell a good sounding.
Les Miller and Allan Eastham were also successful in obtaining the qualification.
The course was arranged by MVS Medway Unit, the second such course to take place for MVS members aboard the vessel since Londinium 1 has been in their custodianship.
