Cleaning the river in Northamptonshire

MVS Rushden has taken part in a big clean-up of the River Nene in Northamptonshire.
The event was organized by Nenescape, a local organisation which aims to protect the natural heritage of the landscape.
The team worked on a section of the River Nene between Beckets Park and the Carlsberg brewery over two days and cleared large amounts of rubbish from the river bank.
In order to keep everyone safe there were limited numbers taking part who all maintained social bubbles and distancing.
