Blue Light Day for Christchurch and Bournemouth

MVS Christchurch & Bournemouth has taken part in a ‘Blue Light Day’ which was held on Mudeford Green in Christchurch.
The event was organized by the RNLI and provided an opportunity for 22 local organisations to meet the public.

Among those taking part included Dorset Police, Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue, South Western Ambulance Service and the Coast Guard.

The MVS stand included a Pirate ‘photo booth’ complete with parrot, the units Zodiac SIB and a 4-man life raft.
The life raft and its contents proved of considerable interest as many people have never seen one inflated nor seen the contents inside.
