Work has been completed on the restoration of the RIB Seax by the Putney unit.

The process took six months and included power washing and hand scrubbing the hull for four coats of paint and a full service of the engine including anti-foul paint on prop and engine leg.

New signage promoting the Putney unit was funded by CPO George Mellett, who also paid for a new cover.
New mooring lines and safety lines finished the job off.

The unit are about to book a date to launch her back on the Thames where she belongs.
