Funeral of Former MVS Trustee held in Basildon

Members have attended the funeral in Basildon of Rodney Morgan who was a member of City of London and, subsequently, Gravesend Units and a trustee of the MVS from 2015-2020.

Chair of MVS Council David Hughes recalled that Rodney brought energy and expertise to the many Council meetings he attended. “Our thoughts are with Rodney’s family,” the MVS Chair added.

He noted: “It is now five years since Rodney stood down from the MVS but we still miss his valued contributions to the governance of our charity.”
