Long Service Medal for Humberside Stalwart

Captain Nick Spencer, the MVS Liaison Director has presented Maggie Goodson the Humber (Scunthorpe) Unit Secretary with a 10 year Long Service Medal

Maggie has worked tirelessly over many years to ensure the Unit’s fundraising Tombola stalls continue to be a success and the Trafalgar Night dinners are well attended.

The unit is very grateful for her arranging use of winter quarters at Scunthorpe Congregational Hall and as a Civilian Assistant with Thorne SCC which led to the Unit being given use of their Boathouse at no cost.

As an active member both ashore and afloat, her decoration is well deserved.
