FIRST AID REFRESHER EVENING FOR SEVERN UNIT

Tewkesbury-based Severn Unit was very fortunate when Councillor Paul Jones offered to come along to one of the Unit’s training evenings to deliver a refresher course in First Aid.

Head of Unit Nic Price said “Paul, who has had many years of experience from his roles at St John Ambulance and the South Western Ambulance Service, was accompanied by Liz Dawes who is the current leader of theTewkesbury branch of St. John Ambulance.  Many aspects of First Aid were covered during the evening with special attention to CPR techniques and the use of defibrillators.”

First Aid is an imporetnat skill for MVS Volunteers and Units around the country run courses to maintain their ability to respond effectivley when required.
