Three members of the Maritime Volunteer Service who took on fundraising challenges this weekend in support of their local units.
Regional Volunteer Officer Angela Carrington successfully completed the Great North Swim at Lake Windermere on Saturday 13th June, taking part in the 1-mile race for the Northumbria Unit.
Meanwhile, Southampton Unit members Kathy Collins and Julia Whorwood showed tremendous courage by abseiling down the iconic Spinnaker Tower on Sunday 14th June, for the Southampton Unit.
Fundraising plays a vital role in helping MVS units continue their valuable work within local communities and these achievements are a fantastic example of the dedication and commitment shown by our volunteers.
