CoM in the North
Saturday 29th March saw our Committee of Management (CoM) passing through border control and entering the dark kingdom of the North!
Our practice of taking CoM to the members continued with the team meeting at Kirby in North Liverpool, thanks to the cooperation of the MVS and the Sea Cadets.
The MVS would like to thank the Kirby and North Liverpool cadets for hosting us on board TS Daring.
All the usual suspects were present along with our National Chair Elfyn Hughes, who noted that ” I am very pleased to see CoM meeting the members again”
The usual business of the operational running of the MVS was conducted with local members being able to contribute to the flow of the debate.
The whole North West region was represented at the meeting with members from Morecambe Bay, Liverpool City, Mersey and Menai Bridge.
At the conclusion of the meeting the Chair took the opportunity to present to the members the five year strategy for the MVS.
This is the result of the Council meetings held last year to develop a medium to long-term strategy to take the Charity forward.
The outcome of these meetings will be communicated to the members in a series of similar presentations in various regions over the coming months.
