New Members and Funds for Poole

The Poole Unit have been busy attending local events and publicising the MVS as well as raising funds and recruiting new members.
They had a presence at the Tank Museum and The Poole Boat Show where £1250 was raised towards the purchase a new boat.
Promotional booklets illustrating their current vessels and Unit activities were well received and resulted in the recruitment of three new members.
HoU Trevor Ashworth said ‘I was very pleased with how well both events went and extremely grateful for the hard work of all the Poole members’.
