MVS at Burnham-on-Sea Rescue Day

The Bristol Channel Region of the MVS was invited to join dozens of emergency services from across the West Country to take part in the Burnham-on-Sea Rescue Services Day.
Members from Bristol and Severn Unit manned the recruitment stand and made a number of useful contacts.
Nic Price HOU Severn said, “We were very pleased to be welcomed to the show by the Mayor and Mayoress of Burnham and Highbridge, who took a big interest in the work of the MVS and thanked us for attending.
Big crowds turned out for the show on the seafront and there were displays of hovercrafts, lifeboats, ambulances and fire appliances.
