A Royal Appointment for the MVS on the Thames

Tens of thousands of rain-soaked spectators packed London as the Queen’s 90th Birthday Flotilla weaved its way along the River Thames.

Members from MVS City of London and MVS Lower Thames provided support for Gloriana, the British Royal Barge.

The Lower Thames RIB took station on the south bank to the rear of Gloriana with City of London on the north bank.

The MVS held station following Gloriana to the Houses of Parliament.
