Scouts win Water Badges with MVS Port of Manchester

MVS Port of Manchester has been getting more involved with the local community by providing opportunities for young people to get out on the water.
The 1st Lindow Scouts (St. John’s) joined the Unit at their base at the Helly Hassen Water Sports Centre in Salford.
The Unit had three boats on the water and the scouts had the chance to steer by tiller and wheel.
At the end of the day all those who attended received Certificates of Achievement from the MVS and the award of their ‘Time on the Water’ badge along with their ‘Power Coxswain Activity Badge’.
